Boilerplate
This summer, the National Advocates—a group of community-based and human rights organizations—are calling for an end to the underfunding of HIV in Canada. Since funding for HIV was frozen in 2008, the number of people living with HIV in Canada has increased by 25%. This means that demand for services has increased while available resources have decreased. Community-based organizations must do more with less. Together, the National Advocates have launched a campaign encouraging people to take action and write to their MP and the Minister of Health.
